Classes can be held exclusively for parents and caretakers of normal hearing babies or can be exclusive for special needs.
Signs taught are based on SASL (South African Sign Language).
During the workshops, training material is also made available that can be used as reference afterwards.
CPD points are allocated for professionals attending.
Classes are presented in both Afrikaans and/or English.
Categories covered during BASIC Workshop I and 2 include:

Both work session 1 and 2 are 3.5 hours each, therefore 7 hours of training in total.
NOTE: Both workshop 1 and 2 are compulsory and needs to be completed for the Basic Sign Language Training to be completed. In other words, Workshop 1 cannot be attended without also attending workshop 2. The two flow very much into each other. They may well be presented on two different days or one day; availability of dates permitting.
It can be arranged for both classes to be done on the same day or in two following-up days, weekdays or over weekends.

CLASSES FOR THE HOSPITAL AND REHABILITATION ENVIRONMENT
Tiny Handz is excited to also have started with specialized training of specific signs for use within the hospital / rehabilitation environment, focusing even more on adult individuals in the hospital or rehabilitation environment who have lost speech due to stroke,
operations, recovering in ICU and various other medical conditions etc. for use of these signs to help with communication (even if just for a period of time).
This is an optional 2 to 4 day training with 7 to 17 CPD points to be allocated, pending on the length of the training required, open to all within the medical and health environment.
